This 1950s semi-detached house owner desired a stylish, modern look without appearing out of place. Our London Architectural Design Studio showcased product options, aiding visualization for an informed and easy choice.

The owners wanted to replace their existing timber windows with something that suited the character of the property, but with a touch of contemporary design elegance. They chose AluK’s 58BW Flush aluminium frames, with an ultra slim 45mm sightline on the sash and 24mm on the frame, primarily because of the aesthetics, but also because of their maintenance-free feature.

The owners sought a dream home transformation, desiring narrower sightlines and expanded glazed areas for increased daylight. Opting for sustainability, they upgraded from PVC-U to slim-frame aluminum windows, preserving the barn's traditional aesthetic.
